Frequently Asked Questions
Can I pay my registration fee in full upon entering?
Yes! Each contestant has the opportunity to pay in full if they would like. The payment plan option is in place to help our delegates and their families financially when it comes to paying for the pageant.

What is not included in my registration fee?
As a contestant you are responsible for paying for your travel, accommodation, food, wardrobe, and hair and makeup expenses throughout the weekend.

If I won the national title what am I required to do?
As a national queen, we want to make your experience amazing! This is why we have loaded our prize package with so many fun experiences. For each queen to fulfill their obligation, we require each queen to attend both royalty trips and the 2024 national competition. We also expect our queens complete at least 40 social media posts on their official titleholder accounts!

Do I need previous pageant experience to compete at Canadian National Miss?
Absolutely not! We welcome all contestants whether they are season professionals or if they are brand new to the pageant world. Just because you do not have as much experience does not mean that you cannot win the crown. For the months leading up to the competition you will have full access to our National Director and she will make sure everyone feels prepared before even stepping into the hotel.

I have children, can I compete in this pageant?
Of course you can! Our contestants can have any family background. The only requirement that we have for our contestants is that they are older than 15 years old, female, and be a Canadian citizen, resident, or on a student visa.

What is a round-robin style interview?
Our interviews are held in a round-robin format. You will rotate through one on one interviews with each judge.

Do I have to stay at the host hotel?
No, you are not required to stay at the host hotel, however it is recommended. We host the first two days of eventsat the hotel and you cannot be late. Having a hotel room also allows you to have space to get ready and keep your things. We recommend booking a hotel from the day before the pageant begins to the day after the finals.
